Turn The Bios Fan Ac On

The processor fan regulates the temperature of the processor, or CPU (Central Processing Unit), to protect it from damage. The processor plays a significant role in determining the performance of a system. An overheated processor can cause the system to freeze, hang or reboot randomly.

Some motherboards allow users to control the fan through the basic input/output system, or BIOS. Users may adjust the speed of the fan, increase or decrease the temperature at which the fan becomes active, or enable the fan to remain active at all times. Users can also enable fan control in the BIOS and use a third-party software in Windows to regulate the fan speed.
