Overclock The Core 2 Duo T9300 Laptop

Boost laptop performance with an overclocked Core 2 Duo T9300 processor.

Core 2 Duo T9300 processors are mobile processors used in laptop computers. A laptop's CPU or Central Processing Unit, acts like a brain, handling and processing the data the laptop uses to function. Laptops containing the Core 2 Duo T9300 processor are overclocked to increase both CPU and system speed. Overclocking takes a processor beyond the limits imposed on speed by the factory. BIOS settings found in the laptop's startup menu are changed to overclock the Core 2 Duo T9300 processor.

Instructions

1. Boot up the laptop with the Core 2 Duo T9300 installed. Press the laptop's "Esc" key to enter the startup menu. In the startup menu, highlight the "BIOS" option and press the "Enter" key.

2. Switch to the tab labeled "External Bus" or "Bus." Highlight the field called "Front Side Bus" and press "Enter." Choose the value one above the original and press "Enter." This sets the laptop's front bus speed to a higher level, speeding up the Core 2 Duo T9300 processor.

3. Switch to the tab labeled "CPU" or "CPU Core." Highlight the field called "Multiplier" and press "Enter." Choose the value above the default and press "Enter." This raises the Core 2 Duo T9300's frequency multiplier.

4. Exit out to the laptop's main startup menu. Press the "Save and Exit" option. The Core 2 Duo T9300 processor is now overclocked.
