Emachine W3503 Motherboard Specs

The eMachines W3503 motherboard is a versatile main board that provides plenty of space for hardware expansion thanks to its multiple USB and PCI card slots. The board is Intel-compatible with a 64-bit infrastructure, providing the option to upgrade to a 64-bit processor if desired. The factory specifications on the W3503 are adequate to handle all Windows operating systems as of October 2010.


Slots and Ports


The eMachines W3503 features five USB 1.0 ports for connecting external devices, as well as the standard ports for keyboard, PS/2, parallel and Ethernet typically found on most motherboards. The W3503 also has two PCI expansion slots, one PCI Express x16 slot, and one PCI Express x1 slot.


Memory


The eMachines W3503 motherboard uses DDR SDRAM memory and is equipped with 512 MB of RAM from the factory. The memory can be upgraded to a maximum of 2 gigabytes using the two DIMM slots on the motherboard. RAM speeds of 400 MHz are supported.


Processor


The W3503 has a LGA775 processor socket and can take either a Celeron or a Pentium CPU. It comes with an Intel Celeron "D" processor that clocks at 3.2 GHz.


Audio and Visual


The eMachines W3503 has an integrated sound card as well as an integrated ATI Radeon X300 integrated graphics card for video output.
