Overclock The Ageia Asus Pcie

Manufactured by Asus, the Ageia PhysX card uses the PCI bus interface in order to compute real-time physics effects for high-end video games. Nvidia acquired Ageia in 2008 and now integrates the Ageia PhysX chipset with the Nvidia GeForce 8 Series and higher PCI-Express video card models. If you have a dedicated Asus Ageia PhysX card installed, you can overclock the PCI slots on your computer in order to increase the card's performance.

Instructions

1. Press "Del," "Esc" or "F2" during computer startup to open the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) menu, after which you must press "Alt" and "F1" together to open the hidden options on your BIOS.

2. Select the "PnP/PCI Configuration" option and press "Enter." Next, select the "PCI Latency Timer" option and press "Enter."

3. Select a value of "32," "64" or "128." Higher values will correspondingly increase the speed of the Asus Ageia PhysX card. Press "Enter" to set the selected PCI latency value.

4. Press "Esc," select the "Save Settings and Exit" option and press "Enter." Boot your computer normally.
