Install Display Adapters On Virtual Pc

Virtual PC is a program that creates a virtual home computer on your existing computer, without using any of your actual computer's hardware. The Virtual PC emulates the hardware in a way that fools the host computer into thinking that it is the hardware of a particular machine. With Virtual PC you can run multiple operating systems simultaneously and switch between them with the click of your mouse. However, you cannot change the hardware specifications on Virtual PC, but this also means you don't have to download a display adapter because Virtual PC already has one.

Instructions

1. Go to Virtual PC 2007. (See Resources) Make sure your PC has the proper system requirements.

2. Download Virtual PC. If you have Vista running on your PC download the 64-Bit download. If you have Windows XP of earlier you can download the 32-Bit download.

3. Once the file is downloaded, double click on it to install.

4. Press "Run" to continue the installation. Keep pressing "Next" until you get to the "Customer Information" page.

5. Fill out the "Customer Information" page. You can restrict usage of the Virtual PC to yourself or expand it to anyone who uses your computer. Press "Next."

6. Click "Install" to install Virtual PC onto: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Virtual PC. If you would like to change the location click "Change" and add a new location. Virtual PC will install on your PC.
