KC Daylighters are all-terrain auxiliary lighting systems designed to be mounted to your Jeep. These are powerful lights that can hold up in extreme weather conditions such as rain and fog and even hold up when dirty. They come with an attached wiring harness which makes installation quick, even if you don't spend a lot of time working on cars.
Instructions
1. Place one of the lights behind one end of the metal bumper, making sure the hole at the base of the light aligns with the mounting hole on the back of the bumper.
2. Use the included nut and washer to secure the light to the back of the bumper. Place the other light on the opposite end behind the bumper and repeat the process.
3. Use your wire cutters to strip about 1/4 inch off of the sheath off of the ends of the red and blue wires that connect to the lights.
4. Insert the ends of your wires into the plastic wire connectors and use your pliers to crimp down on the ends, securing the wires to the connectors.
5. Locate the headlight wiring harness on your particular vehicle. This information will be in the manual for your car.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness from the headlights and strip 1/4-inch of sheath off of the ends of the black and red wires.
7. Insert the ends of the wires into the matching wire connectors and use your pliers to crimp down on the connector and form the connection.
8. Use plastic ties to secure the loose wiring to the bumper.
