Install A Syncmate Driver

SyncMate is a piece of freeware that makes it easy for Mac users to synchronize their PC-based mobile devices with their Mac data. New builds of this software may continue to be released at various intervals for the indefinite future, and each new build may require an updated driver. When an updated driver is available, you may be automatically prompted by SyncMate to download and install it. Otherwise, you can check for, download and install new drivers manually using this process.

Instructions

1. Click the Apple icon and select Software Update. The machine will begin looking for available updates right away, and it may or may not detect a driver update for SyncMate. If it does detect one, confirm that you would like to download and install the driver. If it does not and you still believe that there may be a different driver available, proceed to the next step.

2. Download the installation file for the latest version of SyncMate from the website of Eltima, SyncMate's developer (see Resources for link). The latest SyncMate drivers are automatically included with the latest version of SyncMate, and the installation file for this piece of freeware is very small.

3. Run the installation file you downloaded from the Eltima site. If your current drivers are out of date, the installation software will automatically update them for you.

4. Reboot your machine only if prompted.
