Trying to resell computer parts for a profit however, is a very difficult task because there isn't a lot of margin and most people know find deals on quality parts. The best reason to have bulk computer parts is if you are building computers.

1. Set up an account with wholesalers such as Ingram Micro and Evertek. Some wholesalers require you to have a business license or sales tax certificate. Other wholesalers will sell to the general public.
2. Look for computer auctions. Websites like eBay do sometimes have auctions for large lots of computer equipment. Some computer wholesalers will also auction parts through their websites.
3. Check retail computer stores. They sometimes will sell regular customers large quantities of products at cheaper prices. Talk to a manager whenever possible about whether the store makes such transactions.
