The Intel Centrino line of processors is designed for mobile notebook computers. The Centrino line comes in a wide range of speeds, allowing for budgets of all types to enjoy the benefits of this type of CPU. Lower-End Processors


The lower-end Centrino processors typically fall beneath the 2.0 GHz speed rating, including a 1.2 GHz processor and a 1.6 GHz processor. These are the slowest speed processors offered by the Centrino line.


Mid-range


The mid-range Centrino models fall between 2 GHz to 2.5 GHz,and include a 2.13 GHz model, a 2.26 GHz model and a 2.4 GHz model. These are relatively fast units that can keep pace with most desktop models.
