NVIDIA's nForce chipset controls the motherboard's communication to everything else.
Updating hardware drivers ensures that your computer has the latest support available. Driver updates can make your system run faster or enhance security. Sometimes, extra features are added with hardware driver updates, such as the ability to run multiple core processors or multiple video cards. Without these additional updated drivers, your computer can soon be sitting in the electronic stone age of yesteryear, not performing to its full potential.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the NVIDIA driver download page.
2. Select "nForce" under "Product Type."
3. Select your product series (NVIDIA always uses the first number as the series number), product, "Driver" from download type, operating system and language.
4. Click "Search" to go to your download.
5. Click "Download" to begin the download of the file you need.
6. Double-click the downloaded file and install.
7. Reboot your system and the new nForce drivers will go into effect.
